He has liked lots of sensory touch and feel games like the hokey cokey with his feet and incey winsey spider up his hands and fingers.

Jack also had more of the music introduced which he showed more interest at this week but at one point became exclusive with it.

Jack took his new scooter into one of his sessions this week and seemed to enjoy it being in there and that he had taken it in

Jack has shown people where he has wanted his scratches

Jack has been interested in peoples toes and feet and socks and shoes he has put peoples socks on his own feet and even someone shoes.

Jacks hours have increased this week and Jack seems to be happier because of it and recognised some of the girls who have not been for a while

Week Commencing 15th Feb

The week started with Jack being quite relaxed but in a good mood.

Jack loved the vibrations of the electric tooth brush, even helping to brush Elmo’s teeth and then his own.

Jack watched people build tracks for Thomas the Tank of the giant blocks then walking round the tracks himself.

Enjoyed Winnie the Pooh,Tigger having brick walls built for them to sit on then, they either fell off and gave Jack back scratches or tickles.

An increase on Jack coming back to games when people ask him if wants to come back and finish playing.

There has also been a lot more interest in his books at one occasion when someone started singing to the Noddy book Jack started to laugh at them.

Jack enjoyed running games, running from opposite ends of the room to each other then meeting in the middle, bringing in the sensory ball and swapping from each other when we meet.

Jack played Hide and seek and then introduced one of Jacks motivations Elmo to the game and Jack found Elmo in the blanket.

Jack done a lot of climbing this week from chairs on to the table then building with bricks to make the table higher so Jack is taller, at times singing Humpty Dumpty to him and swinging him down.

Another game Jack loved was turning the table upside and making it a boat and shaking and moving it round the room.

Jack also this week took someone’s hand to the Gym Balls and Blocks directing to the games he wanted to play which is a really big achievement for Jack.

Jacks hours have really increased a lot this week and had showed in the way that Jack seemed to be more aware of what was going on around him and even if he was exclusive this would be for short times and was watching what was going on at the same time.

This week also saw another big change to Jack he started to get very tired at night, dropping  his evening Son-Rise as he was going to bed at 8.30pm from 10 or 11pm.

Jack played a falling over game on the blanket and even seemed to remember the game from one day to the next.

The red dome also turned into a boat for a game and Elmo, Big Bird and Tigger rocked on the sea.

The dome turned into a hill when it was upside down and pretended he was the Grand old Duke of York and adding Jacks name to the song.

Jack enjoyed the big blocks being made into a brick road for Jack to walk around the room on.

Jack loved the song round and round the garden down at the back of his leg for a tickle instead of just on his hand.

Jack has also spontaneously loved putting other people shoes and his boots on in his room

Jack also surprised someone this week by taking them to the shelf and requesting ‘Train’ of the shelf which he pushed round the floor.  He also done the same the next day and made a station from the blocks for the train.

Jack loved the blocks being made into chairs and the blankets over the top to make a horse.  Pretending to be on horse rides, when asked if Jack wanted to go on the back of the horse Jack sat on.

This week Jack has still been sleeping really well and has show more interest in his brother in the house, laughing and running with him holding hands.  Jack has been trying hard to talk and had an increase in his babbling and pointing when he is talking.   Jack has been frequently asking for Mummy (I need Mummy, I want Mummy) and now starting to say Daddy more.
